When the sun’s out, people Flok (get it?), to Stevenson Square, eager to grab a seat at one of the many benches that line the pedestrianised street. Before Stevenson Square turned into an al fresco outpost, Thomas Street was the place to be when the sun came out in the Northern Quarter. Home to a slew of the city’s best bars including The Bay Horse Tavern and Cane & Grain, benches line the streets, serving as the perfect place to perch with a beer or a Bloody Mary.
